Question What style of music do you do?

Answer The simplest answer is middle of the road, which means not extremely southern and not extremely contemporary, but somewhere in between. Our music style is received well by a broad audience, from young to old. To read what our critics say about our style of music, click here (letter 1) - or here (letter 2). To hear a demo of the styles of music you may hear in one of our concerts, please see Our Music page.

Question Is there preaching in your service?

Answer There is no traditional preaching. We do share testimonies and biblical truths through word and song, and many consider our services a one night revivial, but as far as traditional preaching, no.

Question What are your volume levels?

Answer We are very careful to keep our volume levels at a comftorable sound level for people of all ages. We bring all of our own instruments, so unlike church acoustic instruments, we are able to control the volume of each of the individual instruments that we use. We are one of the few groups who do not use any floor monitors and this helps us to have better control over the way the sound is for our audience. We also run our sound from the audience so that we can know exactly what the audience is hearing and can make volume adjustments accordingly. We always receive compliments about the quality and clarity of our sound. We are told that many groups that proceed us are too loud and can not be understood. If we ran our sound that way, what would the point be of having you attend our concert in the first place? If you can't properly hear, then we are defeating our purpose!

Question Do you use sound tracks and background vocals or is everything performed live?

Answer All of the music and singing that you will hear is performed live. We do not use any sound tracks or track backup vocals of any kind.

Question How long is your service?

Answer Typically about an hour.

Question Is there any audience participation?

Answer You may participate as much as you like. You may sing along, clap your hands, stomp your feet, etc. We do not have any audience participation where an audience member is singled out. We do sometimes ask the entire congregation to sing along on a particular song or two.

Question How much does it cost to attend?

Answer We do not charge anything to do what we do. We are a faith based evangelistic ministry, which means that we are supported only by the donations we receive from the people we minster to. Typically, a free-will love offering is taken at the end of a service and you may give as much or as little as you feel like. We are also financially supported by the sales of our recordings, which are normally available following the service. If you attend one of our concerts, we will not pressure you to give or purchase anything. In fact, there will not even be a recordings sales pitch, before, during or after our service.

Question If I follow you around, will I hear the same songs in a different service?

Answer

It is very likely that you will hear the same songs and a similiar program flow if you follow us around from church to church in a short period of time. Most evangelists and concert groups conduct similiar programs from venue to venue; and we are not any different. The message that we have is just as relevant for one church as it is for another who have not heard it. The message of the gospel has not and will not ever change. We are careful to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in our services and make changes to the flow of our program at any given time. As we write new songs and as God leads, it is not uncommon for us to completely change the flow of our program from year to year.

Question Is dress formal or casual?

Answer We typically dress more formal because we are leading worship, but our audience dresses based on the personality of their church and community. It is not uncommon at all to find formal and casual dressers in the same service.

Question Will children and/or teens relate to your family?

Answer

Each child and teenager is of course different, but on average, children and teens respond well to our family. We have a teenager as well as older children who are an integral part of our family ministry. We encourage parents to bring their children and teens to our services. We also encourage parents or an adult supervisor to sit with your child and or teen during the service.

Sometimes when children and teens are not supervised, they become distracted by the other children and teens they are sitting with. When this happens, they stop listening to us and start causing distractions for the rest of the audience.
